My objective is to delete duplicate messages from a folder. 1. I've read I should use: formail -D 8192 msgid.cache < oldfolder >> newfolder 2. I've also read I should lock oldfolder while doing this. 3. I'm puzzled by flock. Could I get some help about how to set it up for this situation.
