The algorithm is a part of that code. If you're implementing IPsec,
you're better off using the existing, working tools instead of rolling
your own. If you're interested from an academic standpoint, try
google. The Wikipedia entry has a lot of specific information about
IPsec. If you're disinterested in the Linux tools because you're
creating a proprietary tool, this is the wrong place to ask about it.
If you're trying to do something else, please, for pete's sake, tell
us what you're trying to do instead of asking vague questions.

Also, I get the feeling that you really should be doing this on the
kame mailing lists instead of here. You'll find more IPsec experts
there.
