Hello I am using a Linksys Wireless Access Point Router hardwired to my cable modem to allow wireless internet access to my 2 laptops. Both laptops are using Fedora 14.
Both laptops are able to connect to the internet and both laptops can ping each other (i.e., ping 192.168.1.100 and ping 192.168.1.101) However when I go to launch the url (via Firefox browser) from laptop A to access laptop B (URL: https://192.168.1.100:1158/em/) I get the following error message: "Unable to connect Firefox can't establish a connection to server at 192.168.1.100:1158" ' This same url on laptop B works fine when run from laptop B (i.e., locally). This suggests a configuration issue. Does anybody know what is causing this problem? Thanks for your help -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Linux Users Group.
