The LUG rules state there is to be no website advertising (Hey guys, check out my website!). So before I get flamed for it, I thought I would clarify.
Lifehacker had what I think is a really well done article on Linux system maintenance. A few things I think you could do without like: manually running fsck even though most distros I tried run it on startup after so many days, or cleaning up your /tmp directory. Thought you guys would like this article, and might be helpful for some of our new Linux users out there.
