I am running arch and trying to install php52. As a part of the install process, it requires you to choose postfix or exim as your mail server and remove all others. I already have ssmtp installed to work with logwatch and my gmail account so I can be sent the log reports. I have messed with postfix before and have had no success in getting it set up right. I have not messed with exim. Is there a way for me to install php5 and keep ssmtp while giving php5 the ability to send email via ssmtp? If not, is there an easy way to set up postfix or exim to send through my gmail account? Any assistance with this is greatly appreciated. I already tried Freenode's #archlinux channel with no response.
