I am new to Linux. I just installed Zorin Lite 7.1. I chose this version mainly because I am using a netpad computer with a single core Atom processor (humble) system. Here is my issue: When I try to open Google it tells me to go online. So, I try to go online through my wi-fi. When I do this I get a box that says:
Authenticate, system policy prevents modification of network settings for all users. An application is attempting to perform an action that requires priviliges. Authentication is required to perform this action. There is a line for typing in a password. I have tried using my Uverse wifi password (the one the works for all of my other computers using XP), and the Zorin password (the one that I used while installing Zorin.) Neither of these work. I can't get connected to the internet. All my other Windows based machines are connected just fine.
