Zorin is Ubuntu based. There is NO root password (unless you purposely
create one). The primary account is automatically added to the admin and
sudo groups and the password for that account is the one he should be
using. However, he also needs to be logged into that account when
attempting to do admin commands. If he is using an account that is not
part of the admin and sudo groups it won't work.
