when I tried to update from terminal there is a GPG error as given below, W: GPG error: http://packages.osrfoundation.org trusty InRelease: The following signatures couldn't be verified because the public key is not available: NO_PUBKEY 67170598AF249743
then I tried the following command gpg --keyserver keyserver.ubuntu.com --recv-key 67170598AF249743 it gave me output gpg: requesting key AF249743 from hkp server keyserver.ubuntu.com gpgkeys: key 67170598AF249743 not found on keyserver gpg: no valid OpenPGP data found. gpg: Total number processed: 0 tired to add key using gpg -a --export 67170598AF249743 | sudo apt-key add - the output is as following gpg: WARNING: nothing exported gpg: no valid OpenPGP data found. I've unsuccessfully tried the following command as well apt-key adv --keyserver keyserver.ubuntu.com --recv-key 67170598AF249743 which gave similar output as one of the above cases. still I get the GPG error, can anyone suggest a solution? -- -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Linux Users Group.
