You'll have to be more specific on what Windows services you want or need access to. As for which flavor of Linux, I'd suggest Linux Mint. But you will get a wide range of answers from everyone. Best thing to do is get a virtual machine loaded (VirtualBox), and try a few of them to find a personal preference.
