Shaun, I created those files in udev and copied / pasted into them. I plugged the card in, and it is not visible in the network manager, ifconfig or iwconfig. I figured maybe udev would require a reboot to read the new configs. Post reboot there was no change. I also tried to modprobe rt5370 with no success. I've thrown everything I know how to do at this, and am coming up with snake-eyes.
