Hi
I have come across few incidents when swap space is used. Some times I find
that swap space is used despite free physical memory.
Is there any procedure to deal with swapping ? Please share if you are aware.

Swap is used when kernel needs some data to process frequently and its placed
on swap, it has nothing to deal with free memory. During the swapping i/o wait
and load avg may spike..
