Wacom used to work for the more-or-less HID compliant egalax 0eef:a001, but when I try it these days, by using the "wacom" X.org driver, I get no responses whatsoever.
With evdev, the egalax still shows up in "xinput list". When I use wacom, however, the driver logs that: (II) Using input driver 'wacom' for 'eGalax_eMPIA Technology Inc. PCAP MultiTouch Controller' (II) eGalax_eMPIA Technology Inc. PCAP MultiTouch Controller: type not specified, assuming 'touch'. (--) eGalax_eMPIA Technology Inc. PCAP MultiTouch Controller touch: Wacom Unknown USB tablet maxX=32767 maxY=32767 maxZ=0 resX=0 resY=0 (II) XINPUT: Adding extended input device "eGalax_eMPIA Technology Inc. PCAP MultiTouch Controller touch" (type: TOUCH, id 14) and then it's no longer visible in "xinput list" and does not respond in any way. What happend? Can I still use the wacom driver?
