you guessed correctly, I am! ;-)
In the InputDevice section of xorg.conf for the pad you define an
identifier. This you have to use (I'll update the blog entry)...
Section "InputDevice"
Driver "wacom"
Identifier "Your_Pad"
Option "Type" "pad"
...
