Im using Nvidia 7900 GT, and the newest driver 1.0-8756.
I have check the xorg.conf and all seens to be OK, also, have used
the glxinfo as Pablo said. Direct Render On, calling GLX
from xorg.conf. All seens to be fine.
After trying installing the tablet drivers and all the overall gfx
seens to be a bit slower, could not get time yet to do
some performance tests with the old xorg.conf (no tablet one),
neither to try using GIMP. In Shake, seens to be fine.
Also for me it seens to be some issue related to x11/gfx drivers. Ill
let u guys know when get time to try it harder again.
What about that i915 issue? Ill do some research about that too,
dunno if I use it. The only guy that really know about
linux here it's kinda busy too. Unfortunately, for now I can't get
help from him too.
Thanks a lot guys,

Hey guys,
Im trying to make an Intuos 3 to work propperly under FC5, after
some tweaks on xorg.conf, it works fine for the system, except
that inside
Apple Shake 4, it takes a long time to "open" the GUI with a bit
of lag in overall graphics (like an old gfx board). I mean, it
freezes the whole window, except the minimize, maximize and close
buttons.
After a while, it cames to work without detecting when mouse focus
goes over another windows. A while later, it becames to detect,
but always some menus (such File, Edit, Tools) remains poped-up.
Sometimes not, so I can work fine if don't close the software.
Well, Im not a *nux guy, so was kinda difficult to came into this
point, Im running FC 5 32bit, 2.6.15. Latest linux-wacom driver
and a Intuos 3.
Tryed to use wacdump, but could not get any luckly with it.
Do any have got the same issue? If there's some fix for that plz
tell me.
Thanx all
Does the Intous correctly work on other applications which can use
extended input devices, such as The GIMP? It seems more a problem
with the application itself (or the hardware) rather than the
pointing device. Did Shake work as expected before you mingled with
xorg.conf? What you describe seems more a graphics driver problem
than the Wacom driver, but who knows (I'm no X11 guru). The sort of
problem you describe is quite similar to some problems reported
with some Intel graphics chipsets when using the Intel driver for
Xorg (i915 family), I'm not saying it is the same, but find it
rather similar to those. What is your graphics card and what driver
are you using?
