Greetings,

I have my Wacom Graphire 4 tablet working (apparently) fine on Ubuntu
6.06, using Ubuntu's xserver-wacom package with the official
linuxwacom package's pre-built wacom driver.

After configuring xorg.conf, I get great pressure curves in The GIMP,
CInepaint, myPaint, Inkscape, and pretty much anything that takes
tablet input.

However GIMP is giving me a problem in that it has a slight -lag-
after every stroke, and the cursor visibly jolts each time. The
problem this causes is that GIMP skips the next instance of input, for
example if I were to quickly write a bunch of letters, every other
letter would not be drawn.

Now although this sounds like a GIMP problem, the effect -does not
occur- when I paint with the mouse, indicating a tablet driver problem
rather than a GIMP one.

If anyone has any suggestions, I'd love some help. I've had various
tablet problems since first coming to Linux a year ago, and this is
the furthest I've gotten so far.

Thanks!
Raeth
