Don't define anything... You've set max as:

(**) Option "TopX" "0"
(**) Option "TopY" "0"
(**) Option "BottomX" "800"
(**) eraser: bottom x = 800
(**) Option "BottomY" "600"
(**) eraser: bottom y = 600

These values have nothing to do with your video resolution... For a
small A4 tablet the automatically set vales are (on my machine):

cursor Wacom X driver grabbed event device
(==) Wacom using pressure threshold of 61 for button 1
(==) Wacom USB Intuos3 tablet speed=9600 maxX=40640 maxY=30480
maxZ=1023 resX=5080 resY=5080 suppress=2 tilt=disabled
(==) Wacom device "cursor" top X=0 top Y=0 bottom X=40640 bottom
Y=25400
(==) Wacom device "stylus" top X=0 top Y=0 bottom X=40640 bottom
Y=25400
(==) Wacom device "eraser" top X=0 top Y=0 bottom X=40640 bottom
Y=25400
(==) Wacom device "pad" top X=0 top Y=0 bottom X=40640 bottom
Y=30480

loke:sleipner:~$ xsetwacom list param
TopX - Bounding rect left coordinate in tablet units
TopY - Bounding rect top coordinate in tablet units
BottomX - Bounding rect right coordinate in tablet units
BottomY - Bounding rect bottom coordinate in tablet units
...

Leave them be...
