my first mail here.
wacomcpl don't work on my system for some reason.
I am running gentoo and have my graphire already configured for my Xorg
server. Well it doen't work as I expected but it works.
I installed the linuxwacom tools from the portage system of gentoo,
version 0.7.4_p3. I also tried to uninstall completely the version from
portage and compile the latest from linuxwacom website. In both cases
the wacomcpl doesn't work and returns the following messages:
when running "wacomcpl":
wacomcpl: using TCLLIBPATH="[list /usr/lib ]"
Error in startup script: X Error: 153 BadDevice, invalid or
uninitialized input device
Error (5): WacomConfigOpenDevice: Failed to open device
Set: Failed to open device 'cursor'
while executing
"exec xsetwacom set $dev FileModel"
(procedure "createControls" line 25)
invoked from within
"createControls"
(file "/usr/bin/wacomcpl-exec" line 1029)
when running "xsetwacom list" I get the following:
cursor cursor
stylus stylus
eraser eraser
any hints?
