Hi, I just registered a patch that adds the 2.6.19 support to -dev and 
0.7.7-4. Can be found here:

If you want to apply it to 0.7.7-4 do:
* Unpack 0.7.7-4
* In the root of the package (where you find the configure script)
 $ patch -p1 < [path-to-the-patch]
* Replace the configure script
* Follow the normal HOWTO

This is the code I'm running on and I haven't had any problems with it so far.
