They are given by xsetwacom:
7:00 [EMAIL PROTECTED] /dev/input# xsetwacom get stylus bottomx
25400
7:00 [EMAIL PROTECTED] /dev/input# xsetwacom get stylus bottomy
20320

I did it. Here is the relevant part of /var/log/Xorg.0.log:
(**) Option "Device" "/dev/input/wacom"
stylus Wacom X driver grabbed event device
(==) Wacom USB Intuos3 tablet speed=9600 maxX=31496 maxY=19685 maxZ=1023 resX=50
80 resY=5080 suppress=2 tilt=enabled
(==) Wacom device "stylus" top X=0 top Y=0 bottom X=31496 bottom Y=19685
(==) Wacom device "eraser" top X=0 top Y=0 bottom X=31496 bottom Y=19685
(==) Wacom device "cursor" top X=0 top Y=0 bottom X=31496 bottom Y=19685
(==) Wacom device "pad" top X=0 top Y=0 bottom X=31496 bottom Y=19685
But I still have the same problems: with the stylus, I cannot point
lower on the screen than 32 pixels from the bottom, and a rectangle one
inch wide cannot be accessed on the right part of the tablet. On the
contrary, the cursor allows me to access the lowest part of the screen,
but it works in relative mode, contrarily to what the /etc/X11/xorg.conf
file says. And the right rectangle one inch wide on the tablet cannot be
used.
