IPsec, support for L2 overlays, and support for explicit tagging and
end-to-end metadata.

Speaking only for myself as an individual:

+1 to Fabio's comment quoted above. This work would be complimentary to the work of several other WGs. And it's obvious to me that these applications of LISP technology are valuable for IETF to explore.
