Good software is sufficient to get the job done.
It is not the list-manager's job to become the sysadmin/postmaster for
the site. There are other people tasked with that job.
For a site where a single person owns the machine and installs the sofware,
then I agree with you. But on a shared machine, one that already has a
competent staff to handle sysadmin/postmaster duties, then it is wrong to
demand that the listowner have the same technical background as the staff.
Lists are for general people, not just the techies.
