A lot of this discussion seems to focus on very large, public lists. I
run a bunch of small, closed lists for work groups and collaborators -
where, as a matter of policy, we want everyone to see all traffic. So,
reply-to-group is a good tool for enforcing this policy - we WANT it to be
hard to send a personal message.
Just another example that what makes sense for reply-to is a situational
issue, not one of ideology.
