Just to say "me too".  I have had one similar experience, but I treat
anti-spam autoresponders they way I treat any misbehaving autoresponder
that comes to my attention when managing lists.  (And if it comes to my
attention, then it is almost certainly misbehaving.) I immediately
unsubscribe the address generating the bad auto response, and complain
bitterly to the postmaster at the site with the autoresponder.
