This isn't exactly a list issue, but bigred.net has come up with a mail
configuration error that is a new one on me.
When my list sends out mail, the author is getting a bounce message back that
says that '[EMAIL PROTECTED]' is an undeliverable address. There is no such
address on my list, but the To: header is set to '[EMAIL PROTECTED]'.
(And on my news sublist, I get a bounce back from [EMAIL PROTECTED],
so it appears pretty clear that their system is doing something strange
with the To: header.
That they are incorrectly sending bounce messages back to the author rather
than the envelope return address is a separate issue, but at least I've
seen that one before, far too often.
I've informed the site administrator.
