Once you get over 1000 members, a "give and take" forum gets mostly taken (IMO). List royalty emerges and true discourse is discouraged. I've seen it happen on my "main" list and we discuss machine knitting. I'd hate to see what would happen if it grows to 10,000 members (like it would <g>).
