This is as good a spot as any to discuss mail blocking. I haven't had much trouble being blocked by large ISPs. Now and then, my site does get blocked by some of the smaller ISPs. I have had several instances where subscribers were blocked by other subscribers ISPs. "Hey Fred I can't get through." emails posted to a busy list can be very annoying. As long as spammers exist, I fully support the right of ISPs to block spam sites. I also fully support the right of customers to complain when an ISP gets the filtering wrong. I have never contacted an ISP about bad filtering myself. I figure if a subscriber isn't getting their mail because their ISP is filtering, it's up to the customer/subscriber to read the riot act to their ISP. - murr -
