I agree, and that would certainly be the case if I managed the actual lists. As it is, I provide list hosting and try and charge as fairly as possible - that includes charging for disk space they use on my server and bandwidth used sending the messages. So the decision to only keep limited archives would be the choice of the end user. Andy
