I've tried this method and it causes nothing but pain. Tried it on Unix and NT. Sometimes it works for MSIE, sometimes it works for Netscape. But then it would work on Unix for MSIE 4 and not 5, on NT for NN4.5, but not 4.7. On Unix for NN4.7, but not 4.5, and on and on and on. And of course, if it doesn't work, then the URL with the ID and PWD is visible in the Location bar of the browser. HTH, Adrian J. Moreno "David L.
