I just downloaded it, and the zip files only contained a .htm file without a
textarea even in it:) there's a booboo somewhere along the lines.

Someone on the list was recently asking about a tag that would limit the
number of characters the user could key into a text area control. There
is a new custom tag in the gallery that may help you with this. It does
not stop accepting characters but it puts up a warning. Check out
