Thought I'd forward this to give a new perspective on the situation.
Hatton used to regularly attend our meetings before he took a position
in Buffalo.

If the "membership" were to think about things like where some of their
members are (that is plural, I'm not the only person that is still a
member
of the DFWCFUG and not living anywhere CLOSE to the DFW metroplex), then
they will realize that the meeting portion of the group is just that, a
portion.

I personally would love a web cast, or a downloadable version of the
meeting
in a Real format of some kind. So what if I'd have to pose my questions
on
the list after I got done watching (or listening)... the information is
still there. But we've got to think realistically... who has the time
or
the funding to handle that request. A CFUG is a non-profit club that
provides Cold Fusion developers a place to bounce ideas and get help.
Those
who have members of this group for long know the benefits of being a
member... and may have forgotten what life was like without it.

These are just my random thoughts. I'm not there for meetings, so I
can't
take it any further than that.
