Here is a simple detection script in Flash:
http://www.zapdesigns.com/conn_speed/db_conn_speed.html.  Right now it only
displays the conn. speed but could be easily modified to send slow users to
a specific URL and fast users to another.  Also, it's loading a 12k file to
do the test and can be more accurate by increasing the file size.  If you'd
like to take a look at the code let me know and I'll send you the .fla.  Or
if you want me to modify this for you just send me an email and let me know
what you want.  I hope this helps.

Does anyone know of a way to dynamically detect a user's Internet connection
so that 28.8 modem users hitting the site could see the 28.8 version and
cable modem, dsl and faster connections could see a more advanced version of
