I was actually looking at the entire MX studio with FlashMX, FreehandMX,
etc. ... looks like I can upgrade to that for $399 (which, considering
all the apps included, is a steal)

Is there a place to give them that feedback?

My first impression has been somewhat mixed. While it is not as bad as I
feared, I found it hard to find where to make some configuration
decisions
that I use to make in Studio. But there are some good features also. I
would
have preferred that they leave the file navigation section alone. I was
not
too thrilled with that part but another post on this site had some good
comments that I need to explore also.

Another concern I have is price compared to Studio.

As Billy pointed out earlier, the Studio that we know and love has
become
"Homesite+". However, Homesite+, according to the MACR Web site is only
available with Dreamweaver MX.

I downloaded the new software yesterday... so far, I have to agree with
Seth. I am unimpressed. Mostly, it's the little things that are now
apparently missing that have me disappointed.

I sincerely hope that when they make the final release that they include
a
way to import all of the old Studio settings. The new interface is very
tedious and precious few of the "standard" Studio settings are in there.
They could also stand to speed it up several notches--slow, slow.

Just a quick question, and I I may have just missed the answer on here,
but
anyways:
Does Dreamweaver MX replace Studio?
I have installed the preview edition, it is a bit of a learning edge
over
studio's simple interface, but so far I do like the product. Even if I
will
never use some of the more advanced features, being a "hand-coder".
Cheers.
