I’m getting this error message:

Connection verification failed for data source: xmlContentSolutions
[]java.sql.SQLException: SQLException occurred in JDBCPool while attempting to connect, please check your username, password, URL, and other connectivity info.
The root cause was that: java.sql.SQLException: SQLException occurred in JDBCPool while attempting to connect, please check your username, password, URL, and other connectivity info.

I’ve tried assigning sa sql server account to the database and then use sa as the login/password for ODBC connection.  No Luck.  I’ve tried creating a new SQL Server account and use that as the login.  No Luck.  Any help would be appreciated.

I have not failed.  I've found 10,000 ways that won't work.

I believe if you use ODBC Socket connections, you can use the Trusted Connection option.  Otherwise you are required to specify the UID and Password.

I’ve installed CFMX, but am having difficulty with the ODBC connections.  Most of my ODBC connections rely upon Trusted Connection option.  I do not see this option in the administrator?  Does CFMX force a Username and Password?
