Tuesday, September 10, @ 6:30 PM

This meeting hallmarks the inclusion of the Multimedia Users Group of Dallas (MUGOD).  As the world of web development is continually converging, having a skillset that includes both the design and development aspects of constructing web applications is crucial.  The goal is to make programmers better designers and designers better programmers.

Leland Rangel, independent consultant and chairman of the MUGOD, will be discussing Flash Utilization.  Flash, THE animation standard on the Internet, offers amazing benefits for the functionality, as well as the look and feel of our applications.  Additionally, Flash can be integrated into ColdFusion!  Designers and programmers alike will want to hear what Leland has to say.

Also, Patrick Steil, chairman of the DFWCFUG and President of Infrastructure, Inc., will be discussing ColdFusion Best Practices.  This will be discussion of various techniques and methdologies for constructing ColdFusion applications.

Additionally, we will be having an open discussion/survey about the user group, and what direction we want to take to best serve our members.  A user group is only as strong as its members, so be sure to attend and let us know how the user group can best serve you.

Our meeting will be sponsored by Emrys Technology , who will be discussing a product release designed to make the lives of ColdFusion developers easier.  You don't want to miss it!
