RE: Executing a DTS using CFQUERY

Thanks to those who replied for all of your help.  However, when I try to run this, I get error message, "could not find stored procedure 'xp_cmdshell'".    I'm looking through both the BOL and the DTS site, and the only reference to executing this remotely is through VB/ASP commands, both of which I am very weak at.   Thanks, again. I think so... or if not from a stored procedure... afaik it's a bit tricky tho... If you create a dts package, then schedule it, you can right-click on the job for the package and select properties. Select the steps tab, select the single step, then press the Edit button at the bottom.
