Subject: RE: CSV --> SQL Server

[] DTS
[] BULK INSERT
[] BCP

are all options. DTS is mostly wizard, and pretty simple. BCP is
powerful.
All are described in SQL BOL (link below) and also check out

Do you have the VBScript Docs or SQL BOL installed? If not, why not?

Guys,

I need some help. I have a client that is being hosted by CFDYNAMICS and
have a SQL Server Database set up with them.

The problem is, they want to publish data from their local R:BASE to the
SQL Server and the only means they have is to create CSV files for each
table. I cannot figure out how to get Enterprise Manager to import the
CSV files to the SQL Server without having to recreate the tables. The
tables are already defined on SQL and the data just needs to be
'refreshed' from the local CSV files.

Has anyone done this?

Thanks for any help !

Derek
