I had a similar problem a couple of years ago with Interdev, it
turned out to be a problem with the server extensions used by Source Safe
not getting overwritten properly. I doubt that you would be experiencing
the same problem, however I think the troubleshooting technique that I used
may help. Find a tool called filemon.exe (it is a file monitor). This will
show you what files are being accessed when your file is being saved. That
may help diagnose what is happening.

Does anyone know if Dreamweaver MX tries to debug while saving files? It's
literally taking minutes to save if it's a complicated page, and I need to
turn it off.
Any help would be appreciated. Preferably before I put my foot through a 22"
