there is a discussion about the idea of putting CFEclipse on a USB drive.
Combine that with Portable FireFox (http://johnhaller.com/jh/mozilla/portable_firefox/) and you really have something cool. Imagine your dev environment being able to move with you from computer to computer on your iPod or USB drive. Way cool.
Anyone tried this? I'd like to, but I need to figure out how to reduce the footpint of Eclipse first. It's about 200 MB as a standard install (at least my standard install), and I have a 128MB USB drive. Fortunately, portable FireFox only uses about 8MB. (!! wow)
