Depends on what I'm doing. If it's complicated stuff that I have to really think about, then either nothing or jazz (I'm a trumpet player, so jazz usually means Miles Davis, Chet Baker, Wynton Marsalis, etc.). If it's more mindless stuff then mindless alt-rock seems to fit the bill; stuff like New Found Glory or something along those lines. Whatever the kids are listening to these days.
If it's really annoying stuff that I didn't even want to do but am being forced to do, then I go for "anger rock" like Chevelle or Three Days Grace. Gets me through it quicker and fits my mood. ;-) Matt On Fri, 21 Jan 2005 09:58:21 -0600, bsd <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > > > > A topic that goes around every once in a while: what's your preferred music > to code by? > > > > > > Mine: > > Any of the acoustic fingerstyle guitar masters: > > e.g., Leo Kottke, Billy McLaughlin, Michael Hedges, Lawrence Juber, Preson > Reed.
