Depends on what I'm doing.  If it's complicated stuff that I have to
really think about, then either nothing or jazz (I'm a trumpet player,
so jazz usually means Miles Davis, Chet Baker, Wynton Marsalis, etc.).
 If it's more mindless stuff then mindless alt-rock seems to fit the
bill; stuff like New Found Glory or something along those lines. 
Whatever the kids are listening to these days.

If it's really annoying stuff that I didn't even want to do but am
being forced to do, then I go for "anger rock" like Chevelle or Three
Days Grace.  Gets me through it quicker and fits my mood. ;-)
