We are now happy to have MBCS (Multi-Byte Character System) support for our application.   But we now came across a very strange problem, whatever data we stored using CF5 in DB (SQL Server 2000) is now not displaying correctly on .cfm pages in MX. All multi-byte characters are displaying corrupt. Following is an example:   Japanese string with CF 5 looks like: 'ãããçãç'  (img1.gif) same string with CF MX now looks like 'c c[1]9c g(cì.g;'  (img2.gif)   What has gone wrong here? What changes do I have to do to fix this? Why doesn't CFMX understand the encoding?   Any help on this topic will be highly appreciated! Currently, this is the highest priority in my area.   Thanks in advance!
