This is only the 2nd meeting.  They really haven't nailed down the format yet.  Nothing like the CFUG.  Last meeting was more of a round table discussion on what people want out of the group and specific programming issues.  A lot of Action Scripters there, some discussion over AS 2 versus AS 1.  I think they plan on doing a little show and tell on particular projects and breaking them down on how they were put together, what was learned, how best to tackle similar situations.

So to answer your question, I don't think there are will be many "basic" topics and it will pretty heavy into Action Script.  They also do more "networking", talk about there businesses and such, at the beginning.  You also pick up interesting tidbits hanging around afterwards talking specifics in smaller groups.  Bob Coalter, Digital Doyle, myself and another flash guru friend of Doyle's had a beer afterwards.  Don't tell our wives!

Thanks,

Joe Kelly

Hey Joe,

What’s the level of content that they present?  Is it all design type stuff?  (i.e. how create a gradient on you graphic symbol?)  Or something more intense like using the v2 Architecture in Form based development?
