An Overview of ColdFusion MX 7 In the first half of the meeting Patrick Steil and Matt Woodward will give an overview of ColdFusion MX 7, covering what's new, what's improved, and why you'll want to upgrade if you haven't already. This presentation will include a demo of a really slick banking application developed by Macromedia to show off CFMX 7 so you won't want to miss this. Improving the User Experience with Macromedia Flex In the second half of the meeting Clint Tredway will show how he's been using Macromedia Flex at Lee Financial to provide users with a vastly improved user experience when compared with standard HTML. Clint will show how a single screen web application can create a more immediate, compelling user experience, and he'll also demonstrate some of the cool features of Flex such as the new charting components and drag-and-drop functionality. Clint has been working with ColdFusion since 3.11 and has been developing websites/applications since 1997.
