There is a master recovery tool:  rebuildm.exe in the Binn directory.  Run
it from command line.

It should rebuild the master log file for you.  If not, there is a manual
way also, but it is more involved.

Also, be sure to backup everything to a different volume first.

Having a 5 alarm fire:
My master log file (ldf) has gotten corrupted and now the SQL Server will
not restart leaving a ton of databases unaccessable.

I guess that I have to reinstall... correct ???

Will this not delete any databases that are present?

Precautions, Hints, Etc. Appreciated.
