Thank you Peter. I may try that but I'll continue looking into how to set
it where there don't have to be multiple virtual directories that point to
CFIDE.

I'll let you know when I figure it out.

Cheers,

Mark

Use the "scriptsrc" attribute of CFFORM.

Eg:

<cfform name="myform" action="mypage.cfm" scriptsrc="lib/cfform.js">

etc

Subject: CFIDE directory

Howdy team,

I feel dumb asking this question because I've run into it before and can't
find my notes on how to fix it. Anyway, my current install of CFMX 7
insists on creating virtual directories for each web site pointing to my
common CFIDE directory location (in order to find the CFIDE/scripts anyway).

I know in CFMX 6.1 I don't have to have those virtual directories and CFMX
uses the single virtual directory I have set up in the default web. How do
I configure CFMX 7 to just use the one virtual directory? The problem is,
in order to use the features provided by <cfform>,<cfinput> (and others),
CFMX has to be able to get to the /CFIDE/scripts folder. If I remove the
virtual directories from each web, it can no longer find CFIDE for templates
in those webs that require it.

I remember working with MM on this way back when and there is some setting
in a CFMX startup XML file (i think) that controls this.

Any help would greatly be appreciated.

Mark
