The entire episode seems to be setting up very high expectation for the next few episodes. If it's not more spectacular than the Azadistan arc, I'd be _very_ disappointed.
The new OP is perhaps more interesting than the episode itself. It seems to reinforce all the mini-rivalries, pairings, backstories that had so far tried my patience will be sustained and eventually revolved(???). Combining new OP/ED and a whole episode consisting only of drum-rolls, am I to think that everything up to now has only been an introduction? And now the real story begins? I kinda hope so! There isn't a new face in the OP/ED right? So the size of the cast is stablized now? (assuming Cathy Mannequin is nothing more than a straight-ahem-man for Patrick's comedy) The 3 new Gundams, my guess is we won't see them for a while yet. ED is pretty "down" in mood. What does it mean? The 4 GM's in the animated sequence look either marginally gay or at least un-heroic. Interesting on the un-heroic side to them but hmm... No, I don't think Tieria is female. But he seems slightly less human than Soma. > crew (what's up with that bathing suit?).
