Mr. Crocker's words of outrage are most amusing.
Seeing as this fellow has been part of the group
actively preventing competition and new Domain
Name Services Providers for those five years. Dave
along with his collegues Bob Shaw, Kent Crispin,
Michael Dillon, Perry "The human chainsaw" Metzger
and so on through IAHC, CORE, the gTLD-MoU and now
this ICANN abortion have steadfastly and aggresively
prevented any/all efforts to innovate and expand the
namespace. By smearing all newcomers to the business
as DNS terrorists and exploiters and by implying
Network Solutions is the only enemy Crocker et al
have attempted to monopolize the entire unfolding
expansion of domain names, IP addressing and now
RFC generation. Unbelievable.
Considering all of this, for this fellow to talk of
moral outrage is itself the very height of the morally
outrageous! It is more humourous by far than Mike
Roberts' high toned criticisms of Network Solutions
recent hijacking of Internic.net! Keep up the good
work David! You might yet make it as a stand-up
comedian. Though you'll have to settle for being
a straight man. Perhaps you could team up with Jeff
Williams/Dr Eberhard W Lisse/Sam Hayes Merritt, III/
Frank Rizzo? Sounds like more fun than a barrel full
of Kashpureffs!
