I was in Berlin. I think it is a travesty to imply that it was only CORE
members who thought the situation was untenable. The general feeling in the
hall was that this was a nonsense.

I agree with this. CORE dominated the Testbed registrars (three out of five
places). It is dominating the Registrars constituency by wearing CORE and
'Registrar' hats as it suits them.

I think this is vital. However, I also think this will sort itself out in
the fullness of time. CORE is an irrelevance now and will become more so as
the ICANN board becomes an elected board.
