Open to everyone in the world? On the contrary, everyone with views
in dissent of those of CORE has been excluded. That is the only way
three CORE NC members could get elected.
The same has been done in the other constituencies, wherever it was
possible. The NCDNHC, for example, has been so far manipulated that
the ICIIU and supporting organizations, original organizers of the
NCDNHC and spokesmen for it in Berlin, have been excluded from the
Names Council teleconference, in the presence of ICANN's attorney
and president, who said nothing, and who were evidently there in
order to make ceratin that this policy was carried out. The ICANN
board's proposal in Berlin, agreed upon by all NCDNHC organizers
present there, that a neutral third party set up a website and
listserv in order to equitably arrive at a compromise solution for
the constituency and to allow new members to join before elections
were held, has been rejected by ISOC in fear that they would lose a
fair election and their control of the NCDNHC, and this rejection is
being supported by you and the board. The original compromisers,
Milton Mueller and Kathy Kleiman of ACM, have been removed from the
negotiations and replaced with someone favorable to ISOC's illicit
co-optation of the NCDNHC.
Is it any wonder, after these dirty tricks, that only CORE and ISOC
people are NC members? And you call this "open"? For your part in
these crimes, I fervently hope that you are disbarred, if not sent
to prison.
