All, I thought this might be of some interest. I especially thought the "Subject" line was rather funny.... Regards, -- Jeffrey A. Williams CEO/DIR. Internet Network Eng/SR. This discussion has taken a rift turn into surreality... There are rules that the IETF, via Poised, has come up with for publishing stuff. Authors are not required to agree with them, merely to follow them. If you can't follow the rules then feel free to put your magnum opus up on your own personal web site someplace. If you don't like the rules, if you don't accept the rules, then you try to change them via Poised and the IETF process. Furthermore, I would expect people who have been around for a while, who perhaps may have even served on one I-body or another, who perhaps may be anal sticklers for following the rules and procedures down to every last clause, to understand this and act like responsible adults.
