Not to put too fine a point on it but...

A room full of people yelled. It sure looked like consensus
to me. But, whem you realize it was a) predominantly CORE folk
and b) CORE is just one of a dozen or so companies that
wants to manage a few tlds in addition to the 246 organizations
currently managing tlds.
